Celebration Villa of Berwick Engages with Local Charity for a Fundraiser Event

Celebration Villa of Berwick, a vibrant senior living community known for its active involvement in local causes, is excited to announce its upcoming charity fundraiser event. In collaboration with Alzheimer’s Association, the community will host a Basket Raffle aiming to support The Walk to End Alzheimer’s. The event underscores Celebration Villa of Berwick’s commitment to fostering a culture of giving and community engagement.

Scheduled for the entire month of August at Celebration Villa of Berwick, the event invites residents, families, and members of the local area to come together for a cause. For the month of August, we will be selling tickets for a chance to win our raffle baskets which have been generously donated by our community staff. Ticket sales will begin 7/31/24 through 8/31/24. Tickets will be on sale at our front desk Monday – Friday from 9a-5p. All proceeds from the event will directly benefit our walk team for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s which will be held September 14, 2024, at Bloomsburg Town Park.

In addition to the fundraiser, Celebration Villa of Berwick regularly participates in a variety of community outreach programs, including corporate sponsorships of the Berwick Historical Society, Ber-Vaughn Community Pool, organizing donation drives for the local Veteran’s Home, local Animal Shelters, Beyond Violence, and more, which reinforce the community’s role as an active contributor to the local society.

The Basket Raffle is one of the many ways Celebration Villa of Berwick, operated by Priority Life Care, encourages its residents to remain connected and contribute positively to society. These events not only provide a platform for charitable work but also reflect the spirited and compassionate environment within the community itself.
